Happy Halloween! I’m not a huge peanut butter fan, but occasionally I’ll get in the mood for homemade peanut butter cookies. I wanted to make something fun for Halloween and since I do like Reese’s Pieces I decided to try this recipe. This is a super easy recipe too, which is great!
I used a stand mixer to cream the butter and sugars together. Then I added the creamy peanut butter and other wet ingredients. After mixing together the dry ingredients you’ll want to just mix the two together until combined. I usually try to do this by hand so I don’t over mix the batter, then I folded in the Reese’s Pieces (except for the ones I remembered to set aside!) and I found some Reese’s peanut butter chips in the pantry and used some of those as well.
I love making cookies with our big cookie scoop as they look so nice and yield a great size cookie! I ended up baking mine for about 12 minutes as they didn’t seem quite done around 10 minutes. If I’m eating cookies I love to eat them while warm and these were delicious. These look fun, taste great, and are super easy so they’ll definitely be on my list of things to make again when I’m in the mood for peanut butter cookies!
