
First, I’m about three days late posting this. Also, I was supposed to finish this month out making a Funfetti Bundt Cake, but that didn’t happen so this is what you’ve got! Is this recipe a bit of a cop-out because it’s to easy, yes.
I’m sure there’s someone out there who has never made rice krispy treats, but likely not many so I won’t even bore you with comments about making these. They’re simple and as long as you don’t use too many marshmallows (see this recipe for what happens if you do….) and you don’t burn anything then you’re good. The only difference between this and regular rice krispy treats is you add 1/4 cup of sprinkles. I added mine at the very end as it recommends and they ended up melting so that was disappointing. This isn’t what you want to hear in a recipe, but mine kind of looked like a unicorn threw up on them… lol. They tasted good, but I think I’ll still to chocolate chips next time and skip the sprinkles unless I’m just putting them on top.
