Cranberries are one of those ingredients that I feel like I only make cranberry or cranberry orange bread with and I never try anything else. This recipe looked fun and so I thought it might change things up a little.
This is another pretty simple recipe but you do want to make sure you set out the milk, eggs, and yogurt before you start. Right before you start you’ll want to melt the better so it has a little time to cool. Once that’s ready then you’ll mix together all of your wet ingredients, then in a separate bowl mix the dry ingredients. Mix them together until they’re just combined as you want to ensure you don’t over mix the batter. Add in the white chocolate and cranberries (I used frozen) and then give it a quick stir and then pour into a greased loaf pan.
Like most loaf cakes/breads this will cook for about an hour (that’s how long it took mine) and then you’ll let it cool. I topped mine with some melted white chocolate for a little garnish.
This was a little sweeter than most of the cranberry breads I’ve made before so it did taste a little different. However, I didn’t really notice the white chocolate unless I got some of the white chocolate on top. Despite this I do feel like this was a really nice recipe, even if mine wasn’t as pretty looking as the one in the actual recipe!
