What better way to start the new year than with a month of funfetti themed bakes?! Cookies seemed like a fun way to start and they looked good.
These are pretty easy, though you do want to factor in some time since these require chilling. One of the first thing you’ll notice is that this calls for melted butter. You’ll mix this with the sugars, egg, and vanilla extract. Then you’ll mix the dry ingredients into the batter, scraping down the sides as you go. Mix in the chocolate chips and sprinkles, then you’ll scoop these out onto a a cookie sheet and let them chill for at least 2 hours.
After chilling, you’ll pop these into the oven and let them back. Mine ended up baking for right at 14 minutes. I was a little disappointed because mine ended up looking a little rounded still rather than flat so I’m not sure what caused that. These tasted pretty good so all in all it was successful, but I hate they didn’t turn out as pretty as I’d hoped.
